Hi @Vidur_Mittal,

Just to confirm. Are you connecting from qgis to an enterprise edition of omniscidb using the odbc driver, and thats crashing the qgis?

Which table are you trying to read and which version of the database are you using?

Hi Candido,

Yes we are connecting with enterprise version at our client place, where as in our office we are using trail version for replication of use case. We have seen Qgis crashing in both the environment.

We are trying to import vector data from the table to represent on qgis and do some viewshed analysis using qgis, we were not successful in porting GDAL lib for using it with omnisci. However we are still facing some issue and still trying for the same parallel.

Hi,

could you give at least the DDL of the omnisci/heavyai table structure you are getting data from?

you can get this information using

show create table table_name;

and then you could enable the trace of the Odbc driver, to help us better what’s happening in there.

To enable the trace, just click on the Loggin Options, and then change the log level to LOG_TRACE

After the crash just uploads the logs here.

Are you getting the crashes, when you read the data from the db to the Qgis?

Regards,
Candido

Hi @Vidur_Mittal ,

It would also beDoing this nice if your client could directly open an issue to the support.
Doing this would speed up the entire process to resolve the issue.

Best regards,
Candido
