Insertion of GDB in omnisci db

Hi team,

While logging in I am getting following error, although service is running and port is reachable in private IP.

OS : Centos 8
NVIDIA-SMI 470.82.01 Driver Version: 470.82.01 CUDA Version: 11.4
[data@vm01 ~] uname -r 4.18.0-348.2.1.el8_5.x86_64 [data@vm01 ~] omnisci_server -v
OmniSci Version: 5.9.0-20211118-75d225cb93
[data@vm01 ~]$ omnisql omnisci
Thrift: Thu Dec 30 22:43:29 2021 TSocket::open() connect() <Host: localhost Port: 6274>: Connection refused
and while inserting gdb file gettign below error.
omnisql> COPY MNG FROM ‘/var/lib/omnisci/import/Default.gdb’ WITH (geo=‘true’);
TException - service has thrown: TOmniSciException(error_msg=import_geo_table error: GDAL Failure: Error occurred in filegdbtable.cpp at line 696 (1))

Please suggest what all changes I need to make to move ahead.

Hi @Vidur_Mittal ,

About the first error, the only reason for the error is that the server was down during the call. Probably you thought the server was running, but in the meantime, it crashed for whatever reason.

The second error looks to be caused by a third-party library called GDAL, which we use to handle the import of such a format. Looking at the source in Github it seems there is an issue with the header of your file, but I am not sure about that.
Have you tried to convert the GDB file into a shape and then reimport it?
(you can do it online using this website GDB to SHP Converter Online - MyGeodata Cloud).
Have you got the error with other GDB files?
